UPCOMING EVENT: The Education Bureau (教育局) says Children’s Day activities will run from April 3 to April 6 at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying, 衛武營國家藝術文化中心). The program will center on a dinosaur-themed event featuring stage performances, interactive exhibits, and science education components.
According to city officials and event details reported in local media, Japanese group DINO-A-LIVE will perform three shows daily at the outdoor theater, for a total of 12 performances over four days.

Six life-sized mechanical dinosaurs are expected to be used in the shows, designed to simulate realistic movement and provide up-close interaction with the audience.

The surrounding Weiwuying park area will also host themed installations, including a “dinosaur grassland” display with animatronic figures, along with a fossil excavation zone aimed at children.

Organizers say additional activities will include interactive games, a themed market with more than 100 stalls, and family-oriented programming.
