Taiwanese singer Jeannie Hsieh (謝金燕) visited the Seoul edition of Waterbomb music festival ahead of her planned appearance at Waterbomb Kaohsiung 2026 in September, organizers said.

Argentine pianist Martha Argerich will lead a chamber music concert at the Pingtung Performing Arts Center (屏東演藝廳) on Nov. 15 as part of the venue’s 10th-anniversary program. The concert, scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m., will also be one of the main events of the 2026 South Wind Music Festival. Argerich will be joined by Belgian violinists Michael Guttman and Yossif Ivanov, as well as Taiwanese violinist William Wei (魏靖儀), who became a co-concertmaster of the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in May.

Live Nation Taiwan’s Kaohsiung event page lists Westlife as the headliner but does not specify which individual members will appear.

At least six major malls or landmark retail projects are expected to open in Kaohsiung over the next five years, as transport-oriented development and high-tech investment reshape the city’s commercial map, the Commercial Times reported. The new projects are expected to shift Kaohsiung’s department store market away from traditional single-district shopping areas and toward a multi-center model built around rail and MRT hubs.

Deputy Mayor Lin Chin-rong (林欽榮) previously said the site would include a rope climbing system, bouldering area, balance-bike and inline-skating practice areas, a parkour practice zone, and a pump track: a looping course with bumps and banked turns for balance bikes, scooters, and other small-wheeled activities.

Music festival Waterbomb, first launched in 2015 in Seoul, South Korea, is scheduled to hold a Kaohsiung edition on Sept. 12-13 at the plaza opposite Dream Mall (夢時代).
