KAOHSIUNG — The Box House outdoor event venue and campsite (Box House 派對露營會館) in Meinong District (美濃區) recently hosted a private school group for a contracted event, according to a social media statement released by the facility’s operators.
The venue’s management stated the unnamed school has utilized the location for multiple years to conduct outdoor activities and youth events. The operators issued the public statement to acknowledge the returning group and highlight the facility’s ongoing capacity for large-scale private events. However, the promotional post did not specify the name of the educational institution, the number of students in attendance, or the exact dates the event took place.
Located on Section 1 of Jhongsing Road (中興路), Box House operates as a private commercial venue catering to school functions, family gatherings, and group camping.
According to the venue’s public specifications, the facility features a large cultivated lawn area and provides public amenities, including centralized bathroom facilities and a shared kitchen equipped with refrigerators, freezers, and basic appliances.
The site offers multiple rental configurations, including standard tent camping spaces and air-conditioned converted shipping container cabins. The venue provides both 20-foot and 40-foot container cabins. These units include private resting areas, outdoor patios, and independent shower facilities. Management materials indicate the cabins are designed to host groups of 15 to 25 individuals for daytime activities, with limited capacity for overnight stays.
In addition to individual plot or cabin rentals, the venue permits full-site buyouts for larger private events. The facility also provides supplementary equipment rentals, including barbecue grills, picnic seating, and large sunshades to support group logistics.
The venue operators stated they are currently accepting reservations for future site rentals. Interested organizations or individuals are directed to contact the venue directly via messaging platforms or phone to confirm availability and exact pricing structures.
