This year’s theme is “Auspicious Animal Festival” (吉祥動物派對). The official program combines book displays and vegetarian food stalls with exhibitions, environmental education, and children’s activities.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the museum’s Great Enlightenment Hall (大覺堂). General hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends, though individual activities follow their own schedules.
Highlights include outdoor sculptures by Taiwanese artist Hung Yi (洪易), a mobile library and an exhibition of Buddhist statues from the National Museum of History (國立歷史博物館).
The program also includes talks from Nov. 8–13, along with children’s activities, sutra copying, and environmental education. Visitors can check the organizer’s website for individual sessions and updates.
