KAOHSIUNG — Children aged 12 and under will receive free admission to Shoushan Zoo during the Children’s Day holiday from April 3 to April 6, according to an announcement by Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai.
The zoo will host a series of themed activities, including coloring and sketch competitions for preschool and elementary students.
City officials say parking near the zoo is limited and encourage visitors to use public transportation, such as buses departing from the MRT Yanchengpu Station.
The city will host a Children’s Day event titled “Dinosaur Fun Park” at the National Kaohsiung Weiwuying Center for the Arts, featuring “live” dinosaur shows, fossil-themed activities, and a themed market.
