Kaohsiung has signed an NT$18 billion redevelopment agreement with Taiwan Life for six buildings near Chengcing Lake, combining hotels, rental housing and fitness facilities with upgrades to the neighboring baseball stadium.

Kaohsiung ACG City returns to Kaohsiung Station for a Halloween edition on Oct. 31–Nov. 1, with free general admission. Another event is scheduled for Dec. 19–20.

Shoushan Zoo will waive admission for visitors wearing Halloween accessories during a three-day family program from Oct. 24 to 26.
