KAOHSIUNG — A fleet of luxury yachts valued at more than NT$1 billion gathered at Love River Bay Marina (愛河灣遊艇碼頭) over the weekend as the 2026 Kaohsiung Argo Yacht Show (高雄亞果遊艇展) brought high-end vessels and marine brands to the city’s waterfront.
The exhibition, held March 14–15 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., was jointly organized by Argo Yacht Group (亞果遊艇集團) and the National Federation of Yacht Service Commercial Associations (中華民國遊艇服務商業同業公會全國聯合會). About 15 domestic and international yacht and marine equipment brands participated, showcasing luxury motor yachts, sailboats, and other recreational watercraft.
Reporting from the Economic Daily News said organizers aimed to connect buyers with manufacturers while promoting Taiwan’s growing marine leisure sector. Exhibitors included yacht agents, shipbuilders, marine education providers, and companies specializing in underwater technology and marine services.
Argo Yacht Group Chairman Hou Yu-lin (侯佑霖) said the event is part of a broader effort to expand Taiwan’s ocean recreation economy. Since 2019, Argo has hosted yacht shows across its marina network. A similar exhibition in Tainan in 2025 recorded NT$140 million in yacht sales over three days, demonstrating steady demand in the high-end marine market.

Hou noted that the company has recently linked six major ports — Keelung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Penghu — into what it describes as Taiwan’s first integrated marine recreation corridor, designed to support yacht tourism and related industries.
The Kaohsiung exhibition also comes as Taiwan’s marina infrastructure gains international recognition. Anping Marina (安平遊艇碼頭) in Tainan recently received the Five Gold Anchor rating, the highest level in the international marina certification system, while Love River Bay Marina earned a Four Gold Anchor rating, placing both facilities among top-tier marinas in Asia.

Organizers say the growing marina network, combined with yacht manufacturing and marine service industries, is positioning Taiwan as an emerging hub for luxury marine tourism and yacht services in the Indo-Pacific region.
