Taiwan Water Corporation announced that water outages will be implemented in Hsinchu City, Taichung City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County on Wednesday, April 29th. The reasons include emergency repairs to water pipelines, pipeline replacement projects, and testing of residential water supply networks. NOWNEWS has compiled a summary of the affected areas and durations of water outages and pressure reductions across Taiwan on April 29th. Some areas in the North District of Hsinchu City and parts of Shuishang Township in Chiayi County will experience water outages lasting up to 10 hours. Residents are advised to store water in advance and turn off water pumps during the outage.
