KAOHSIUNG — A venue is now being set up near Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Station (C8) for the Mundo Pixar Experience, which opens Dec. 18 and will feature 13 rooms recreating scenes from Pixar films as immersive environments.

The Mundo Pixar Experience (皮克斯世界巡迴展) will run from Dec. 18, 2026, through April 18, 2027, in Lingya District (苓雅區). The exhibition will cover more than 3,500 square meters and feature 13 rooms recreating scenes from 10 Pixar films as immersive environments. It will open at 10 a.m., closing at 9:50 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and 10:50 p.m. on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays. Last admission is at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively. It will be closed on Tuesdays and Feb. 5.

One room recreates Andy’s bedroom from Toy Story《玩具總動員》. Oversized furniture makes visitors feel as small as the toys in the film. The Monsters, Inc.《怪獸電力公司》room will feature doors moving along overhead tracks. A room based on Coco《可可夜總會》recreates the Land of the Dead. The rooms will also use lighting and film soundtracks designed for their settings. Some rooms will include scents and interactive installations. A merchandise area will offer more than 200 items exclusive to the exhibition.

Presale tickets went on sale Oct. 1 and will be available through Dec. 17. Tickets cost NT$850 for one person or NT$1,650 for two. Regular online tickets will cost NT$890 on weekdays, with a higher rate of NT$930 on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays. Discounted tickets are also available for children and other eligible visitors. Full ticket prices and available entry times are listed on Klook.

The exhibition venue is near the intersection of Haibian Road (海邊路) and Chenggong 2nd Road (成功二路). Visitors can take the light rail to Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Station (高雄展覽館站, C8). Further updates are available on the exhibition’s official Facebook page.
