KAOHSIUNG — The 2026 Kaohsiung Wild Wild Lifestyle festival will take over the outdoor lawn at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, also known as Weiwuying (衛武營), from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7-8.

According to Kaohsiung Travel, the city tourism bureau’s official visitor website, the Fongshan District (鳳山區) event will feature tents, camper vans, outdoor equipment, live-fire cooking, food vendors, nature-themed crafts and activities for families.

Camping instruction will cover practical topics for beginners, including selecting a tent, planning a campsite, using equipment, and storing food. Outdoor cooks will also demonstrate techniques for preparing meals over an open flame.

The program includes lawn yoga and slacklining, while family activities range from woodworking and robot assembly to paracord crafts, body painting and remote-controlled climbing vehicles. Some sessions require advance registration and payment.

Visitors who do not have camping equipment can reserve styled tent spaces with food and other amenities. As of Oct. 17, the event’s Accupass registration page listed a tent package at NT$2,800, with a limited number of sessions available during the weekend.

The festival will also bring outdoor-equipment brands, camper vans, food businesses, and music to the Weiwuying lawn. Organizers advise visitors to check the official event listing for schedule changes and updated activity information.
