KAOHSIUNG — Soft rock duo Air Supply will perform at the Kaohsiung Music Center (高雄流行音樂中心) on Oct. 24 as part of their new “A Matter of Time” world tour.
The concert will mark the group’s return to Kaohsiung after 26 years. Guitarist Graham Russell and singer Russell Hitchcock, both now in their 70s, are touring in the year of the duo’s 50th anniversary.
The Kaohsiung show is also being billed as the first Asian stop on the new tour. Air Supply recently released “A Matter of Time,” their first new album in 16 years, and said songs from the record would be included in the tour.
According to the promoter, the concert will be held at 2 p.m. at the center’s Haiyin Hall (海音館). Tickets are scheduled to go on sale at noon on May 21 through KKTIX and FamilyMart ticketing channels.

Air Supply performed in Kaohsiung in 2000 during its 25th anniversary tour. The duo said in comments released by the promoter that it hoped to create another memorable night with Kaohsiung fans.
