KAOHSIUNG — ASPEED Technology Inc. (信驊科技, 5274), the world’s leading supplier of remote server management chips, on Monday announced the official opening of its Kaohsiung R&D Center at Cangsan Warehouse (棧叁庫), Pier F, in Kaohsiung Harbor’s Penglai Commercial Port area. The launch ceremony was attended by Chen Chi-mai (陳其邁) and company executives.

ASPEED said the new facility completes a north–south operating model, pairing its Hsinchu headquarters with a Kaohsiung-based R&D hub to accelerate development efficiency and inject new momentum into the upgrading of South Taiwan’s technology industry.

The Kaohsiung R&D Center is located at the harborfront Pier F site, integrating ASPEED’s high-tech research facilities with its Cupola360 product experience center. The company said the setting—combining advanced R&D, waterfront scenery, and a high-quality living environment—will help attract top talent while boosting growth through its dual-engine model.

As South Taiwan’s semiconductor S-corridor takes shape, industry linkages across upstream, downstream, and IC design segments are tightening. In addition to its Hsinchu headquarters and Taipei office, ASPEED said it will continue to deepen its presence in southern Taiwan, having already formed a local chip R&D team in Kaohsiung and planning further expansion.

Alongside the R&D launch, ASPEED also opened a Cupola360 immersive experience center to the public. Visitors can interact with the company’s latest 360-degree, always-on panoramic cameras and AI platform, and experience an immersive exhibition using advanced projection and imaging to showcase landscapes from across Taiwan—bringing to life the brand concept “Eyes of AI — Infinite Futures.”
