KAOHSIUNG — The Kaohsiung Grand Hotel (高雄圓山大飯店) has announced a three-day, two-night package priced at NT$5,999 for stays from Sept. 1 through Nov. 30, with a potential out-of-pocket cost of NT$2,799 for eligible guests who combine the maximum available government discounts.

The lowest advertised price is conditional. According to the Taiwan Tourism Administration, stays at participating legal accommodations in the main island area can receive discounts of up to NT$800 for the first night and NT$1,200 for a consecutive second night.
The agency also plans to draw 1,000 birthday travelers each month to receive a separate NT$1,200 accommodation voucher. Combining that voucher with the two nightly discounts would reduce the hotel package by a maximum of NT$3,200.
The hotel package is limited to Monday-through-Thursday stays. The base price covers a city-view room and breakfast for two on each of the two mornings. Up to two children aged 11 or younger may stay without an additional lodging charge, although their breakfasts are not included.
Guests may upgrade to a lake-view room for an additional NT$1,000 per room. The package also includes use of the parking lot and fitness center, while the hotel’s scheduled shuttle from Zuoying High Speed Rail Station requires reservations at least three days in advance.

After the two standard lodging discounts alone, the NT$5,999 package would cost NT$3,999. Reaching NT$2,799 requires the additional birthday voucher. The hotel’s calculation of less than NT$350 per person per night assumes four guests sharing the room for two nights and receiving all NT$3,200 in discounts.
The hotel said subsidy places and birthday vouchers are limited, and birthday-voucher recipients must register before their stay. National holidays are excluded, while dates involving large concerts or exhibitions may be treated as holiday periods. The package cannot be combined with other hotel offers.
