A woman was sentenced to 17 years and eight months after customs officers found more than 4 kilograms of heroin in her luggage at Kaohsiung International Airport.
A Kaohsiung court acquitted a woman accused of helping fund a marijuana shipment, finding no proof she knew an NT$8,949 payment was connected to smuggling.
