KAOHSIUNG — An upcoming seminar in Kaohsiung aims to help foreign professionals with families better understand schooling options in Taiwan. The discussions will focus on how to navigate the country’s kindergarten through high school education system.
The event, titled “Schooling in Taiwan,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yawan Startup Terrace (亞灣新創園). Organizers said the session will be conducted in English and is intended for educators, foreign families with K-12 children, soon-to-be parents, and those considering starting a family in Taiwan.
According to the event description, the seminar will cover how to evaluate different school options, what public education services are available, including Mandarin learning support, and the timelines and procedures involved in school registration.

Organizers say they hope to give international families more clarity and confidence as they weigh education choices in Taiwan, a process that can be difficult for newcomers.
