KAOHSIUNG — Taiwanese singer Jeannie Hsieh (謝金燕) visited the Seoul edition of Waterbomb music festival ahead of her planned appearance at Waterbomb Kaohsiung 2026 in September, organizers said.
Hsieh is scheduled to perform at Waterbomb Kaohsiung on Sept. 12 and 13.
The singer, widely known in Taiwan as “Jiejie” (姐姐), traveled to South Korea to experience the Seoul event before the Kaohsiung festival. Organizers said she joined the crowd near the front of the stage with a water gun and took part in the event’s water-splashing activities.
Photos released by Waterbomb Kaohsiung showed Hsieh at the Seoul event, where performances are mixed with water cannons and audience water fights.

Hsieh said it was her first time taking part in such a large water-themed music event and that she would bring the same energy to Kaohsiung.
“Next stop, Kaohsiung,” she said. “Get your water guns ready.”
Waterbomb, which began in South Korea, combines music performances with large-scale water activities. The Waterbomb Kaohsiung 2026 music festival takes place on September 12–13, 2026, at the Dream Mall Square in Kaohsiung. Tickets are available on KKTIX.
