KAOHSIUNG — Roads near the historic South Gate (南門) in Zuoying District (左營區) will undergo staged nighttime closures Nov. 1–6 for road surface improvements.
Work is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, according to the city’s New Construction Office. Affected sections include:
- Jhonghua 1st Road (中華一路), between the South Gate and Taozihyuan Road (桃子園路).
- Zuoying Avenue (左營大路), between the South Gate and Nanmenkou Park (南門口公園).
- Connecting intersections around the South Gate.
- Zuoying Avenue, between Bisheng Road (必勝路) and Nanmenkou Park.
Traffic controls also cover intersections at Ciwen Road (啟文路), Gushan 3rd Road (鼓山三路), Chengfong Road (城峰路), and Guomao Street (果貿街). Closures will follow construction needs, with volunteer traffic officers directing vehicles.
