KAOHSIUNG — The Kaohsiung City Labor Bureau will hold a job fair on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kaohsiung Senior High School’s (高雄中學) gymnasium, bringing together more than 50 employers offering over 1,800 job openings.
According to the bureau, the positions span a wide range of sectors, including customer service, retail, food and beverage, engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation. Openings range from entry-level service and technical jobs to management positions and management trainee roles.
Participating employers include major technology firms such as Hon Hai (鴻海), as well as retail and service employers such as 7-Eleven (統一超商), FamilyMart (全家), PX Mart (全聯), and Hi-Life (萊爾富). In the restaurant and hospitality category, Ding Wang (鼎王) and MOS Burger will have booths, to name just two participants. E-Da Hospital (義大醫療) is also among those looking to hire.
The Labor Bureau said the event will also include consultation areas focused on youth employment, workers age 55 and older, women returning to the workforce, and general job placement services. Officials are encouraging job seekers to review openings in advance on the Training and Employment Center website and complete electronic résumé registration before attending to improve matching efficiency.
