KAOHSIUNG — The city has unveiled the third wave of performers for the “2026 雄嗨趴” New Year’s Eve celebration at Dream Mall, adding more star power to what officials describe as one of Kaohsiung’s most diverse holiday stages in years.
Joining previously announced acts Accusefive (告五人) and 831 (八三夭) are Golden Bell–winning actor and musician Rhydian Vaughan (鳳小岳), hip-hop artist Kumachan (熊仔), and Hakka singer Chiu Shu-chan (邱淑蟬), a native of Kaohsiung’s Liugui District (六龜).

A Cross-Genre, Cross-Language Program
Mayor Chen Chi-mai (陳其邁) said the lineup reflects Kaohsiung’s identity as a “city that tells its stories through music,” noting that this year’s program brings together Golden Bell and Golden Melody artists across rock, hip-hop, Mandarin, and Hakka performances.
Rhydian Vaughan’s First Kaohsiung NYE Appearance
Vaughan, who recently won Best Actor at the 60th Golden Bell Awards for his role in a mini-series, will appear with his band, “鳳小岳&壓克力柿子”, marking his first New Year’s Eve performance in Kaohsiung. He is expected to debut a new, unreleased track prepared especially for fans in the south.
Kumachan Reworks His Debut Album
Rapper Kumachan returns to the stage with a reimagined version of his debut album Infinite (無限), now released as 《∞➔0》. Known for his tight lyricism and playful self-awareness, Kumachan said he hopes to bring “full-throttle energy” to Kaohsiung’s countdown.

Liugui’s Own Chiu Shu-chan Takes the Stage
Hakka singer Chiu Shu-chan will represent her home region of Liugui (六龜), bringing a softer, folk-infused contrast to the evening. She said performing in Kaohsiung on New Year’s Eve is “exciting and emotional,” adding that she expects her family to be “cheering from their living room.”

Kaohsiung officials say additional details on traffic controls, stage programming, and final countdown events will be released in December.
