Browsing: trade show Kaohsiung
Data from the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) indicates that while information and communication technology dominated 2025 exports, the broader “Base Metals and Articles” category—which includes fasteners—totaled almost US$28 billion. The industry remains the world’s third-largest exporter, accounting for roughly 13% of global production.
Visitors were invited to check out the Kaohsiung-built zero-emission vessel Porrima P111 (保利馬壹號), developed by Porrima Inc., a company founded by Acer (宏碁) founder Stan Shih (施振榮) and Professor Gunter Pauli. The vessel features a hybrid system combining solar, hydrogen, and wind power with AI-assisted controls.
Highlighted categories include international high-end speakers, headphones, and audio cables, as well as vinyl turntables and high-resolution digital audio sources. A dedicated home theater demonstration area will also be set up to showcase immersive audiovisual systems, alongside displays of projectors and laser-based television technology.
