KAOSHIUNG — Music festival Waterbomb, first launched in 2015 in Seoul, South Korea, is scheduled to hold a Kaohsiung edition on Sept. 12-13 at the plaza opposite Dream Mall (夢時代), according to event information released by organizers.
Waterbomb Kaohsiung 2026 will be an adults-only event, with entry limited to people aged 18 and older. Attendees will be required to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a national ID card, health insurance card, passport, or driver’s license.
Organizers said the event will include water cannons, water guns, powerful sound and lighting systems, as well as special stage effects.

They advised pregnant people, people aged 65 or older, and those with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or sensitivity to bright lights or loud noise to assess their health before attending.
The event is organized by CUL Studio and Tipsy Music (微醺樂), with support from the Kaohsiung City Government (高雄市政府) and other groups, according to the listing.
Tickets are being sold through KKTIX. The event listing said ticket holders must exchange physical tickets for wristbands at the venue and pass security screening before entering.
Organizers also warned against buying tickets through unauthorized channels or resellers, saying ticket authenticity cannot be guaranteed outside official sales platforms.
