KAOHSIUNG — Camping comes to the city this weekend as Kaohsiung Wild Wild Lifestyle (高雄Wild Wild 野生活) brings tents, camper vans, outdoor cooking, and DJ sets to Weiwuying’s lawns on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7–8.

The outdoor festival runs from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. both days, offering an afternoon-to-evening outing for families, friends, and visitors curious about camping without heading into the mountains. The venue is the outdoor lawn at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, Weiwuying (衛武營國家藝術文化中心), according to the official event listing.

Visitors can browse camping equipment and food stalls, explore tent and camper van displays, or bring a picnic and settle onto the grass. Pets are welcome, and music will accompany the outdoor activities, the Kaohsiung Tourism Bureau said.
For camping newcomers, sessions cover choosing a tent, arranging a campsite, using equipment, and storing food. Professional chefs will demonstrate open-fire cooking, while family activities include woodworking, robot assembly, paracord crafts, painting, and remote-control rock crawlers. Lawn yoga is also on the program.

One option for visitors who want their outdoor gathering ready on arrival is a reserved four-person tent lounge. Priced at NT$2,800 per lounge per 90-minute session, the package includes four portions of open-fire cooking and four drinks, along with listed gifts. Sessions run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. on both days, with six lounges available per session.

A separate open-fire meal package costs NT$450 for two people. These packages and selected workshops require advance booking through the organizer’s ACCUPASS page, which lists individual prices, times, and participation requirements. Reservations are subject to availability. accupass.com
The venue is at No. 1, Sanduo 1st Road, Fongshan District. For public transport, take the MRT Orange Line to Weiwuying Station (O10), Exit 6, then walk toward the arts center and outdoor lawns. See Weiwuying’s transport guide for directions.
