KAOHSIUNG — Anger is building online after alleged resale prices for BTS’s upcoming Kaohsiung concerts began circulating before official ticket sales had even opened.
According to reports cited in the source material, BTS is scheduled to perform at Kaohsiung National Stadium (高雄國家體育場) on Nov. 19, 21, and 22. Official prices released on May 22 showed the top VIP package at NT$9,380, with other tickets ranging from NT$2,980 to NT$7,980, plus separate accessible seating options.

But screenshots shared on social media appeared to show far higher asking prices from resellers and proxy buyers. In the posts, front-row VIP seats were listed at up to NT$110,000, while other premium tickets were also significantly marked up. Kaohsiung Times was unable to find any of the alleged screenshots referred to in numerous news and social media reports.
Fans reacted with disbelief and anger, with some mocking the prices and others noting that the listings highlighted the severity of scalping for major concerts.
One person reportedly sarcastically joked online: “For NT$110,000, is Kim Taehyung going to hold me while singing?”
Organizers are expected to use a full real-name ticketing system for the Kaohsiung shows in an effort to limit illegal resale. Fan-club presales are set for June 2, followed by Live Nation Taiwan member presales on June 3 and general sales on June 4.
With official sales still days away, many fans are already urging tougher enforcement to stop scalpers from profiting off the group’s return.
