KAOHSIUNG — Eleven bus routes serving Fongshan Transfer Station (鳳山轉運站) will change stops or routes from Aug. 1 because of construction linked to the MRT O13 Dadong Station (大東站) joint development project, the Kaohsiung Transportation Bureau said.

The bureau said the transfer station waiting area beside MRT Dadong Station must be cleared for construction, requiring changes to bus stops and traffic routes.

Five routes that currently stop at Fongshan Transfer Station will move to a newly set-up stop on Guangyuan Road (光遠路), called Fongshan Transfer Station (MRT Dadong Station). They are routes 87, 88, Orange 8, Orange 18, and the Dashu Blessing Line.

Six other routes will no longer stop at Fongshan Transfer Station because of route changes.

Passengers taking route 23 can instead use the Kaohsiung Municipal Fongshan Hospital (市立鳳山醫院) or Shichang Cian (市場前) stops.

Passengers taking the 8010 shuttle and Orange 11 can use MRT Fongshan Junior High School Station (捷運鳳山國中站).

Orange 16 passengers can use the Kaohsiung Municipal Fongshan Hospital stop, while Orange 17 and Red 10 passengers can use the Dadong Arts Center (大東文化藝術中心) stop.

The bureau said signs and route-change maps have been added at the site.

Passengers are advised to check the Kaohsiung bus information website or the iBus+ app before traveling. They can also call the bus service hotline at 07-229-9803.
