KAOHSIUNG — A major high-end audio exhibition is scheduled to take place in Kaohsiung next month, bringing together over 100 exhibitors to showcase the latest in premium sound systems and home entertainment technology.
The Kaohsiung Hi-End Audio Show (高雄圓山HI-END音響大展) will run from April 16 to April 19 at the Kaohsiung Grand Hotel (高雄圓山大飯店), with daily hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Organizers say the event will feature over 102 independent demonstration rooms, allowing visitors to compare a wide range of audio setups across different brands and listening environments. Exhibits will include two-channel stereo systems, multi-channel home theater installations, and high-end personal audio equipment.
Highlighted categories include international high-end speakers, headphones, and audio cables, as well as vinyl turntables and high-resolution digital audio sources. A dedicated home theater demonstration area will also be set up to showcase immersive audiovisual systems, alongside displays of projectors and laser-based television technology.
The exhibition reflects sustained interest in high-fidelity audio in Taiwan, particularly among enthusiasts seeking both analog and digital listening experiences. Industry observers have noted a continued resurgence in vinyl playback systems and premium home audio setups, even as streaming remains the dominant form of mainstream consumption.
The event is expected to draw both industry professionals and audio enthusiasts from across southern Taiwan.
