KAOHSIUNG — Kaohsiung-based Chen-Ying Package Design & Marketing Ltd. (辰映包裝設計行銷有限公司) says it has donated 100 boxes of cat-litter deodorizing carbon to the Taiwan Animal Life Innovative Education Association (台灣拾貓生命教育創新協會), supporting its daily care of rescued cats.

In a Nov. 6 press release, the company said it chose the supplies to address an everyday need that can receive less attention than food and veterinary expenses: maintaining the spaces where cats live while awaiting adoption.

The company said the donation was intended to help with litter-box odor management and reduce the association’s ongoing supply burden.

The recipient association, which uses the English abbreviation TALIEA, combines animal care and adoption work with education about coexistence between people and stray animals. According to its official website, it was established in November 2021 and currently cares for approximately 20 cats, including eight older cats.

The association says its capacity depends on available space, staffing, and medical resources. Older cats and those with ongoing health needs may require longer periods of care before finding suitable homes.

Chen-Ying said it hoped the donation would encourage other businesses and individuals to support animal-care organizations through supplies, adoption, and volunteering.
Information about the association’s work, adoption process, and contact channels is available on TALIEA’s website.
