According to the airport, AirAsia (亞洲航空) is scheduled to launch a Kuala Lumpur-Kaohsiung-Osaka route on June 15, with seven flights per week. T’way Air (德威航空) began operating a Kaohsiung-Busan route on March 29, also with seven weekly flights. Spring Airlines (春秋航空) is scheduled to open a Kaohsiung-Ningbo route on July 4, with two flights per week.
The new service will operate between Kaohsiung and Osaka as an extension of AirAsia’s existing Kuala Lumpur–Kaohsiung route. Flights are scheduled to begin on June 15, with daily service planned through the summer travel season.
Vietnam Airlines (越南航空) plans to increase its direct service between Ho Chi Minh City (胡志明市) and Kaohsiung (高雄) for the Northern summer 2026 flight season, reflecting growing demand between southern Taiwan and Vietnam.
