Nantzikeng Sports Center (楠仔坑運動中心) in Nanzih District (楠梓) began trial operations Sunday. During the trial period, the center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The fitness center and swimming pool are closed for cleaning from noon to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition to standard indoor fitness and recreation facilities, the project has drawn attention for including what officials say will be the city’s only rooftop croquet court.
Trial operations begin in July for the Sanmin Sports Center (三民運動中心), located beside Yangming Junior High School (陽明國中), which will include a 25-meter heated swimming pool, a spa pool, and a dedicated children’s splash area.
The NT$610 million Nanzihkeng facility is the flagship project for North Kaohsiung. Located near the Nanzih Interchange, the 8,932-square-meter building is positioned to support the influx of workers from the TSMC Kaohsiung Plant and the surrounding semiconductor S-corridor.
