Home to more than 50,000 residents, Neipu Township is getting a new transit terminal.

The Megaport Festival (大港開唱), one of southern Taiwan’s best-known music events, will return to Kaohsiung on March 21 and 22, 2026, marking its 20th anniversary with performances at the Pier-2 Art Center (駁二藝術特區).

E-Da World will provide free shuttle services before and after the event. On Dec. 31, free shuttle buses will operate from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The 2025 tea expo showcases Chiayi’s signature product in a stylish venue, with the lovely people who make “high mountain tea” happy to answer questions — and offer visitors copious amounts of all kinds of tea (and coffee).

Pedestrian crossings are being adjusted. Crosswalks are being set slightly farther back from intersections, and striped markings are being re-angled so drivers can see pedestrians earlier as they approach.
